The subscription includes Software Assurance, which provides a wide range of benefits and services to UniBasic / dL4 users. The annual subscription, priced at 12% of the retail price of software on your license, includes free off-site backup and ensures against technological obsolescence by allowing your license to be upgraded or moved to a new server at no charge.

Software Assurance Premium, priced at 15% of the retail price of software on your license, includes live technical support and a 20% discount on hosting and disaster recovery services.

Older licenses without Software Assurance, may enter the program by first upgrading to the latest release. Without Software Assurance, your existing license cannot be moved to a new server or operating system.

• As a premium subscriber, you are entitled to a 20% discount on any of Dynamic's hosting services, including Dedicated Servers, Disaster Recovery Servers, Web Design, UniBasic/dL4/dynamicXport Development, ProStores e-commerce, off-site storage space and email/web hosting.

Live Technical Support [PREMIUM]

• One-on-one technical support and direct access to Development team. Explore ‘how-to’ scenarios like GUI and web-enabling applications, data encryption, disaster recovery and SQL databases.

Off-Site Backup Storage

• Backup important applications and data to our backup servers. Includes 1GB of storage for each licensed UniBasic or dL4 user. For further protection, backups may be rotated off-site weekly to Iron Mountain or synchronized to a second off-site location. You may also use your allocated storage space for documents and other types of data. Additional Storage may be purchased for $2/GB/month.

Upgrades, Replacements and Transfers to Different Servers or Operating System Platforms

• Upgrade to the latest versions of UniBasic/dL4, transfer to a different server or operating system[1], consolidate smaller licenses into onto a single server, or split a large license onto two or more servers – at no charge.

Purchase Additional Users on Your License

• 100% trade-in allowance on your existing license - pay only the difference between the existing and new license fees when adding or reallocating users between UniBasic, dL4 and dynamicXport.

Free UniBasic/dL4 Licenses for Backup Servers Owned and Deployed by You

• Obtain no-charge licenses for your own backup or disaster recovery servers.  Pay only the applicable annual license renewals for your primary and backup servers.
